On Tuesday morning we left for Lanesboro. There we met up with tour guides from Bluff Scape Amish Tours. We were able to experience a unique community life-style a step back in time. We meet the Amish farmers, families and shopkeepers and had the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of items from flowers, furniture, quilts, household goods, homemade pasties and other baked goods. In the afternoon we then headed for The International Owl Center in Houston, MN. The International Owl Center is a non-profit organization working to make the world a better place for owls through education and research. The International Owl Center is the only all-owl education center in the United States.
